These Terms govern your use of muetual (the “service”), operated by evensys. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
The service
muetual lets you and people you invite track shared spending on Expenses Sheets — expenses, categories, budgets, recurring rules, and members — on the web and mobile.
Your account
Sign-in is provided by Clerk. You’re responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use muetual, and provide accurate information.
Your content
You keep ownership of the data you put into muetual. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and display it so we can run the service for you and the members you invite. You’re responsible for the content you add and for having the right to share it.
Shared sheets
When you invite people to a sheet, they can see and (depending on their role) edit that sheet’s content. Amounts and expenses recorded in muetual are for your own tracking — they are not a binding financial statement, invoice, or settlement between members. Sort out who owes what between yourselves.
Acceptable use
- Don’t misuse the service, disrupt it, or try to break its security.
- Don’t use it to store unlawful content or to infringe others’ rights.
- Don’t attempt to access data belonging to accounts or sheets you weren’t invited to.
Plans & payment
muetual offers a free plan. Paid Premium features are planned; when introduced, their pricing and billing terms will be presented before you purchase, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.
Availability & changes
We’re actively building muetual and may add, change, or remove features. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, muetual and evensys aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using muetual and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or to protect the service and its users.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at evensys’s place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
